Professors Mladen Šlaj and Ivica Anić opened a joint private practice 30 years ago, and in 2009 they inaugurated the new Šlaj-Anić Polyclinic equipped with the latest technologies, within which a dental laboratory and the department of dermatology operate. The team of 44 members, of which 13 dentists specialized in different areas of dentistry and dermatology, provided to a number of patients of the clinic an individual approach for the application of new therapies and technologies in the field of dental medicine and dermatology.

Diagnostics
-
3D-TAC
The 3D digital display allows the doctor to determine a correct diagnosis, with the consequent precise and safe implant placement.
-
3D intraoral scanner
Teeth and maxillary bone scanning in order to create a three-dimensional digital visualization of the current situation and determine the treatment.
-
Digital panoramic radiograph
X-ray of the maxillary bone is aimed at setting a correct diagnosis and determining the therapy dynamic.
-
CAD-CAM
The digital display of the bite provides a high precision in the construction of bridges and crowns in order to guarantee a high aesthetic and functional value.
Implantology
-
Dental implants
The implant permanently modifies the root of the missing tooth. The integration of dental implants is a permanent solution, aesthetically and functionally better in case of lack of one, more or all the teeth.
-
Crown on implant
By placing the crown on the implant, we replace the missing tooth without additional intervention on the adjacent healthy teeth.
-
Implant-supported bridge
There is the possibility of placing a bridge with several crowns on 2 implants without additional intervention on adjacent healthy teeth.
-
All-on-4
A bridge is supported by 4 Nobel Biocare implants that resolves total edentulism without invasive surgical procedures, such as sinus lift and bone graft.
-
Nobel implants
Implants with a lifetime warranty.
Dental prosthetics
-
Crown on natural tooth
With the placement of the dental crown, the remaining part of the tooth is kept and the appearance and functionality are restored.
-
Bridge on natural teeth
If you are not suitable for implantology, a bridge of 3 or 4 parts will be fixed on 2 adjacent teeth.
-
Ceramic veeners
By positioning the veeners on the front surface of the tooth, the irregularities are corrected and the desired color, shape and size of the tooth are obtained.
-
Ceramic crowns E-MAX
The new prosthetic materials guarantee high strength and high aesthetics without a metal base.
Mobile prosthetics
-
Acrylic denture
The acrylic denture is the most economical way to replace all the teeth and is simple to maintain.
Dental aesthetics
-
Tartar removal
Besides the aesthetic value, the tartar removal helps in prevention of the formation of caries and the periodontitis.
-
Teeth whitening with gel splints
Teeth whitening is performed in the clinic; otherwise splints can be created for the night use.
Dental restoration
-
Single-canal root canal treatment
Endodontic techniques are used to remove the dental nerve, while the root is being filled and the tooth is being treated.
-
Composite fillings
Composite fillings are used to remove minor dental imperfections caused by caries, thus restoring dental aesthetic appearance and functionality.
-
Pediatric dentistry
Regular visits to the dentist in early childhood guarantee a knowledge of oral hygiene and allow the doctor to identify potential dental abnormalities and a prevention program.
Oral surgery
-
Tooth extraction
If the tooth damage is too great or strong inflammatory processes are detected, the tooth extraction is applied.
-
Bone grafting
In the absence of bone, prior to surgery, the maxillary bone grafting is applied to obtain the required bone volume.
-
Maxillary sinus floor augmentation-smal
By inserting a special mass in the sinus we obtain the volume required to integrate the implant.
-
Removal of granuloma
Apicoectomy is the surgical removal of the root-end cysts.
-
Partial tooth removal
The hemisection is the removal of a single root and a part of the tooth, while the rest serves as a basis for prosthetic work.
-
Shape of the gingival margin
With a surgical procedure the visible part of the gums is reduced and the crown of the tooth is extended.
-
Wisdom teeth extraction
Alveotomy is an ordinary surgical procedure used for the extraction of the wisdom tooth under local anesthesia.
-
Impacted teeth extraction
Corticotomy is the simple surgical extraction of impacted or ingrown teeth and residual dental roots under local anesthesia.
-
Bone regeneration with blood plasma - PRGF
Blood plasma extract stimulates bone cell regeneration.
Orthodontics
-
FIxed braces
With the fixed braces the irregularities in the growth of the teeth and the bite are corrected. Treatment lasts for up to two years.
-
Orthodontics for children
The orthodontic braces is preferably applied in infancy in order to correct the bite and to maintain the aesthetics and functionality of the teeth and the bite.
-
Invisalign
Modern orthodontics allows us to correct the teeth and the bite of adults in a very short time thanks to the removable and transparent Invisalign braces.
Periodontology
-
Surgical periodontal therapy
If deeper pockets full of bacteria are identified during curettage, surgery is recommended.
-
Regerenative surgery
Bone defects caused by periodontitis can be treated.
Anesthesia and procedural sedation and analge
-
Local anaesthesia
All dental procedures can be performed under local anesthesia, which eliminates any sensation from the affected area.

Reviews
Absolutely horrible. I would have to write a novel about how horrible, corrupt and plain evil these people are. No compassion for a patient, no explanation of the treatment plan, so when they make horrible, irreversible, life-damaging and traumatising thing - which could have been so easily avoided if anyone took 2 min to explain the treatment - they just gaslight you. It is suddenly you who did it yourself, it is you who received all the medical notes when they didn't even make ones, you are delusional and what not - despite you having all the evidence of their devastating, appalling, unimaginable treatment.
